Pitchfork premieres Javelin’s “Hi Beams”

Wednesday, February 27th, 2013

Next week we will be releasing Javelin’s highly anticipated second full length album “Hi Beams“. The record represents a more holistic approach to writing and recording than previously attempted by the band. Lyrics and vocal harmonies are for the first time foregrounded in decidedly songlike forms, while the songs are made to be performed in concert rather than as a patchwork of fragmented, glittery shards.

To see what all this means, please enjoy a preview of the record right now over at Pitchfork. To pre-order the record, please visit our fancy store on Luaka Bop.

We would like to thank to Hisham Bharoocha once again for his beautiful album art, and to Critter & Guitari and Christoffer Hedborg for their great animated pieces, which you can see in the stream on Pitchfork.
