Many of you know that 1. we released a William Onyeabor album and 2. we did a remix project with the Moog synthesizer company where Moog actually made Onyeabor branded synthesizers for the remixers.
This is our Record Store Day release, not available digitally yet, only on vinyl this Saturday.
I would like to buy this vinyl, are you gonna sell it on Luaka Bop online store?
Well part of the record store day thing is that you are supposed to go to a record store to buy those particular releases. That said, there seem to be quite a few copies being sold through Discogs at reasonable prices: http://www.discogs.com/William-Onyeabor-What/release/5612445
We may have some for sale on the site at a future date. Thank you for asking.
Best,
Yale
They better hurry and get it digital.
I purchased the William Onyeabor Record Store day at a record store (Spoonful Records) in Columbus, Ohio. The vinyl contains a card for a download. But, the designated webpage does not exist.
Any idea where I can enter the confusing combination of letters and numbers listed on the download card? LuakaBop.com/Gimme doesn’t seem to work.
By the way, I thoroughly enjoy the album. Thanks for this treasure. The staff at the record shop were hoping a few copies would be left, as they were hoping to purchase some.
Lo and behold, I stumbled onto a gimme link (trying gimme, not Gimme). Tell your graphics folks if text case matters when resolving a URL.
Anyways, I found the link and have successfully downloaded the files for the William Onyeabor album, What?! RSD album.
Thanks!
