It was so hard to get our heads around William Onyeabor’s story when we first started working with him. No one knew anything about him and that’s the way he liked it.

Even as we grew to love and respect Mr. Onyeabor (as we called him) we never got the whole picture. And we still know so little.


Now it’s 10 years since releasing Mr. Onyeabor’s records — and its almost what would have been his 79th birthday — so we are releasing two of his magical LPs in COLOR: 1978’s
